Women in Compliance Guidance for CPD

Following recent research, many members stated that they lacked support and guidance when requesting attendance to attend training or CPD events to enhance competence in their role.  To assist, below are a few guidance points to help support the application of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) using the example of CORGI Training Courses:

 

HOW DOES THE COURSE HELP THE BUSINESS?

Supports executing the duty holder role or responsible person

Supports organisations’ and directors’ legal requirements of the business:

Section 36 of the H & S At Work Act requires that organisations have “competent employees, trained, experienced, knowledgeable, skilled and abled to apply those skills to their role.
