I’m (South Derbyshire District Council) currently trying to look at different ways to ensure access is granted to hard to access properties to carry out LGSR’s. Can anyone share any procedures/policies for gaining access for instance if warrants or injunctions are used also if your business disks external meters to ensure compliance?
Also how do you avoid the potential implications following the access?
Hi can any member’s assist. My issue concerns access to allow LGSR’s. As an ALMO we carryout an access procedure which results in 4 appointment letters from our contractor plus three RLO visits and then a further letter from the client which takes 36 days before commencing the legal process.
Does any member carry out a less arduous procedure before legal process?
