Over the next week or so, the personalised invitations to AGSM members will be sent out to attend the AGSM Palace of Westminster Reception. Running from 4pm to 6pm on Tuesday 5th November 2013(an easy date to remember!), the Reception will be taking place in the Strangers Dining Room in the Houses of Parliament.
Organised with the All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group (APPCOG), the event aims to bring the voice of Gas Managers to the highest level and your views will be represented by AGSM members and CORGI at brief presentations. Barry Sheerman MP will also put forward some views from Parliament and other MPs and representatives from Government Departments will be present to discuss some of the concerns and issues face by Gas Managers and their senior management. Presentations will also be made to all newly qualified members who completed their qualifications since the Conference in April this year.
After the Reception there will be a tour of Parliament led by Barry Sheerman MP which you are all very welcome to join.
Numbers are restricted on a first come first served basis, so please respond promptly when you receive your invitation so that we can keep track of the numbers. Any queries can be answered on email@example.com
This event is free to AGSM members and we very much hope that you will join us at this prestigious event. We are grateful to Kidde Fyrnetics for their sponsorship of the event.
P.S. Do make sure you have renewed your AGSM membership!
